History

Founded in 1976, the Underwater Centre has been at the fore-front of diving in Seychelles for over three decades and was instrumental in the setting up of the Association of Professional Divers, Seychelles as well as the Marine Conservation Society, Seychelles and the Shark Research Institute, Seychelles.

Over the past years the Underwater Centre has offered services from a number of bases in Seychelles and has already been recognised as Seychelles Dive Centre of the Year four times. In order to ensure the very best in Seychelles diving, learn to dive opportunities and value for money, we re-organised our operational bases in April 2001.

We are now concentrating on providing services from our PADI 5 Star I.D.C. Resort at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino - Seychelles (on N.W. Mahe) to give you the best opportunity to learn to dive and to explore the very best of Seychelles, both above and below the surface.
